That’s not a problem. It’s the whole service. Most people who walk up to our Washington Boulevard counter are holding a hose that blew an hour ago and have no idea what’s printed on it. We take it from there.
Step 1 — Bring us the broken hose Cut it off the machine and bring the whole failed assembly, fittings and all. No part number, no spec sheet, no measurements needed.
Step 2 — We will identify and match it We read the hose, identify the fitting type and thread, measure the length and confirm the pressure rating for your application.
Step 3 — We will build the replacement Crimped, pressure-tested and handed across the counter, with most hoses ready in about 30 minutes. Take a seat in the lounge or walk the showroom while you wait.
Bringing the old hose is the fastest path. A photo or a measurement usually leaves questions open — thread type, hose ID, working pressure. The failed part answers all of them at once. What should I bring to get a hose replaced? The whole failed assembly, with both fittings still attached. No part number, measurements or manual needed — the old hose tells us what we need to know. If it can’t come off the machine, call us. We can dispatch a mobile unit to build and replace it on site, or walk you through the photos and measurements to take.
The printing on my hose is worn off. Can you still match it? In most cases, yes. We identify hose by its construction, inside diameter, reinforcement and fitting type, then confirm the working pressure your equipment needs. A readable layline isn’t required.
Do you build hoses for forklifts, yard trucks and container handlers? Yes — forklifts, yard trucks and hostlers, container handlers, refuse and roll-off trucks, dump trucks, excavators, skid steers and most other hydraulic equipment running in Southeast LA. Bring in the failed line and we’ll build the replacement.
